Born 1983. Sandy-haired, wears thick glasses, has dark blue eyes. Usually in a denim jacket-slogan t-shirt combo. He dresses pretty normally for a fourteen-year-old boy, but his backpack is covered in comic book patches and he carries a notebook wherever he goes to write programming ideas in. Pushes his glasses up his nose a lot, particularly when he’s nervous, because that’s when his forehead starts sweating.
Aw, Jesse. Jesse is kind of a massive nerd, super super smart but constantly competing for his parents’ favor with his sister. Like, on the one hand, he’s a genius with computers and nascent programming, but on the other hand he just isn’t cool, which would be fine if Annie weren’t the high school’s queen bee. So Jesse is largely content to hang back in the shadows, though this means he has to be pushed to do anything out of his (fairly small) comfort zone. He is very, very calm — little rattles him.
Larry Fisher — dad
Linda Fisher — mom
Annie Fisher — older sister
Has kind of a crush on Annie’s friend Brittany, who is two years older than him and hasn’t really spoken to him since she hit puberty.
